CTB 2026 Registration Information
PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGES FOR CTB 2026
*All MTB riders will enjoy the same 7-mile coarse again this year. (There are no Glory and Joy divisions.) The age and team categories remain the same.
*The Super D is back!
*While the gravel was fun, we decided to focus on what we do well - TRAILS! There is no Gravel route this year.
*We're trying to focus on raising money for the NCK Raptors MTB Team. Therefore, there are no cash payouts for any CTB events.
Event/Walk-In Registration
While we allow walk-in registration, we recommend registering early to ease congestion on race day. Late and walk-in registration is an additional $10.
Age Categories
Age Categories are based on the age of each rider as of July 18, 2026.
Riders must be at least 5 years old to participate in the Super D and MTB events. We encourage parents to use good judgement and gauge their child's ability when registering them.
Cruiz'n Kids Race: The fun FREE Cruiz'n Kids Race is for kids 10 years and under. Walk-in registration only.
E-Bikes are Welcome at Cruise the Blues!
We know folks love their e-bikes and invite you to enjoy them at Cruise the Blues! We have created an E-Bike - Super Solo Open category. If you are riding an e-bike at Cruise the Blues this year, please indicate this on the E-Bike portion of the online registration. E-Bikes will be allowed during the Super D race, but the battery must be removed, please.
MTB Teams
All team members must be registered together in the MTB Division.
Teams are categorized by the combined age of the two team members.
Three-Hour Marathon Race Format
This type of race structure is designed to challenge the most competitive racers while allowing flexibility for those riders participating for fun. All riders start at 9am and are encouraged to ride as many (or as few!) laps as they like. Last laps must be started before 12pm. Ride when it feels good for you and take a break when you need one; there is no obligation to ride your bike for the full three hours. Please see the Rules page for more information.

MTB DIVISION - July 19, 2026The MTB Division is for those who are seeking fun on single track trails. The course consists of 7 miles of flowy trail winding through shaded timber, pasture, and cropland on the Palen Farm. It is enjoyable for riders of all skill levels.(PLEASE NOTE: There are no longer Joy and Glory categories. Everybody ride the same course.) |

SUPER D RACE - July 18, 2026BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Located on Lone Hill and featuring flowy berm turns, big jumps and progressive drops, the Super D showcases the best downhill trail in the Blue Hills of North Central Kansas. All features are rollable, safe and fun for beginners, while offering plenty of opportunities for more experienced riders to boost their experience. The well-groomed downhill course has 200 feet of vertical drop with short pedaling sections, making it fun to ride on All-Mountain, XC, and even Hardtail bikes.Free shuttles start at 2pm for the practice session. All riders are encouraged to pre-ride the course before dropping in for their race runs, starting at 5pm. |
